Oh, and I actually had a conversation with Shep when I was up there last time about the GVR4 1st gear. As most car people *should* know, a taller gear will get you more mph, but less acceleration. They say that a taller 1st gear will get you quicker 60' times, but I think that's deceiving. A shorter gear will get you more acceleration. If you're only racing 60 feet, then it would be a good thing. But just because I shift before 60 feet doesn't mean I want a taller gear. I would rather have the acceleration of a shorter gear. Shep said the same things, actually. I can't remember if he said his 1st gear is shorter than stock even, but I know he said he doesn't have the taller first gear.
