Yes, thanks to all the people that put the work into making this happen. We had lots of fun. So when are we going to have a Columbus DSM track day at Mid-Ohio. :) I would love to put my EVO on that track.

The track was a not the greatest and with the hot weather I really don't think anyone was running near their fastest times. For example Rally Red's Evo had a best of 13.2 @107. With a good driver the car probably could have made it into the 12's last night(we are drag race challenged). The trap speed also seems low, not sure yet what the problem is yet.

I have to agree with everyone. The racing was awsome, I learned how to finally lauch my awd correctly. And I'm very glad I could help JP when he needed it. I will never ever take my leatherman and flashlight out of my car ever again. It has saved mine and other peoples asses so many times. I swear it brings my car good luck. Chad thanks for the food it was awsome. Mike C thanks you so much for getting peoples attention and organizing this. I was so glad to see Kon and especially Dan Weaver, racing his old car again. Really made me remember why I joined Columbus dsm in the 1st place..

Hats off to everyone that organized the event. It was nice to see the old timers and the new faces in the club. The event made me realize what I've been missing, and why I modded my car in the first place. It's really hard to get out most of the time with the new baby and all, but I will definitely try to be out as much as I can. Although I was disappointed with my car problem, I had a great time:thumb

I keep a leatherman in my Eclipse all the time but it gives me no luck. I blew an intercooler hose once and it was worthless. It was worthless because I forgot I had it in the glove box....so I went and bought a screwdriver at a nearby hardware store.

I probably should carry my jumper cables in my Eclipse. They were in my Jetta 2 weeks ago when the Eclipse stranded me at Easton.
