2 1/8"drill bits and a screwdriver.

Ok. That works too. Use the screw driver to push on the tensioner through the block?

I'm talking about tightening the tensioner pulley. You put the 2 drill bits in each of the 2 holes on the pulley and then wedge the screwdriver inbetween them to turn the pulley from up top. Then tighten up the tensioner bolt to spec from below.

This same technic was done by myself on my 87 VW. That is where I figured this trick out by myself. (Those cars also have a tensioner pulley with 2 small holes in it).

or you can use your battery tie down, it has the correct thread, you just need to use a die and extend the threads. That's what I did when I installed my cams.
