View Full Version : Front Wheel Bearings

Anyone replace them? I need to know where to get them.. The ones that Autozone sells are the same size as the hole they should go into on the hub.. So they don't fit.. And the person I talked to there said that both of my bearings must be rusted in because the outer ring of the bearing and where the factory open bearing's race is is the same size.. :down So anyone replace them know? Mine's about to fall off...

im pretty sure they have to be pressed in

neg....when you get new bearings you have 4 bolts to take out the whole carrier assy. PITA....

BTW autozone DOES NOT HAVE THEM.....they told me same thing...after i got my car apart i realizd new breaings were different...and would not fit. even after i did the pressing out of the old bearings....DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME .....you need to bite the bullet and goto satan for the bearings...or ...get them at a junkyard..

Yeah, the bearings are totally different at Autozone/Advance.. And they said it was because my hubs were rusted.. I had it infront of them and they kept saying they were right.. :bash :booty :cuss Of course I also told them I'd be back tomorrow for an Alt. belt they gave me that was a cheaper version of the one I bought... And wouldn't you know it.. It broke in less then 20 minutes of being on the car... :confused :finger :finger :finger :finger
