You would be better off listing what would be acceptable.

16g, 20g, t3/t4, dot dot dot

ok... this thread is now called: "What turbo should I use for my dream setup."

I dont think youre ready to fork over the cash for a big turbo just yet and that youre really just looking for ideas.

Moved to 4g63 tech.

the clock strikes 12 and ken isn't your prince...

-Step #1-
how much money do you have in the entire world right now?
how much of that are you willing to allocate to a vehicle that suffers from diminishing returns exponentially?
how fast do you want to go?

P.S.- those are mitsubishi and hks parts that buschur sells. If you have some subdermal problem with buschur, then i suggest you sell your car. He pioneered 90% of this DSM thing and you'll be hard pressed to find something truley innovative that he wasn't involved in, period

What is the problem with buschur parts??

I'm still waiting for the answer to that one. Care to share your rationale behind not using Buschur stuff? I have some sweet A$$ Turbochargers.com turbos sitting on a shelf in my garage. They're the sweetest ever, and I'll sell 'em to ya cheap. Hell, they have the best warranty in the business.

A long time ago at BW3's I heard him saying that he had called Buschur one day and they were rude to him... and he swore never to do business with them again... I don't know if that is his reason, but he did say that. :confused

He needs to stop being such a choad, and suck it up. If you come acrossed as an ignoramus, and ask retarded questions you should get treated like crap when it comes to something requiring at least some clue of what you're doing. Buschur, both Dan and David, are not the most phone friendly people in the world, and can sound "rude". I however would rather talk to a rude a$$hole than some idiot when it comes to a topic requiring some knowledge and experience. Imagine how many calls they get a day from some idiot who says, what do I need to run 10's. These idiots are clueless, and should be dealt with accordingly. Buschur has made his mark, and really doesn't care if his attitude scares someone away at this point. He's been around longer than the rest, knows more than the rest, and will be around long after the rest are gone. I rest my case. Caine, don't buy a Buschur product, you don't deserve it, or the support that comes along with it. Now, stop stealing the rest of the board member's oxygen with a post like this.

Wow you really jumped the gun there gunner. First off I called Buscher and asked to order a part from him, they then asked why I was ordering this part instead of there's I simply said I hadn't heard of there’s and asked the specs on there’s and still decided to go with the part I wanted to order. He then said "I will call back with a price." And never did. That was very unprofessional and therefore is why I won't deal with them. And second I don't care how long you have been around you have no right to be an ass. Every customer should be treated appropriately. I’m so glad you are quick to group me with those "retarded people" And really don't appreciate your words towards me when you don’t even know me. And further more I don't have insurance on my car cause it isn't needed right now. I drive my pickup to my two jobs and I'm paying my car off and buying parts for it.

You wasted there time then, if you called to ask questions, then didn't go with their product, why would they take the time out to call you back? I wouldn't if I owned a shop. And about the whole insirance thing... you gave everyone the wrong ideas then, because just a little while back you were on the forum complaining about having to ell your car because insurance was getting too high and you coulnd't afford it. I will dig the posts up if you would like me too. So if you say you cant afford the insurance and that is why your car is parked int he garage right now... then why would you be spending money on an expensive turbo??

I think what he meant was: he called and inquired about say "Greddy IC piping". Buschur says they make their own and its better but he still wants to buy the Greddy which they don't stock. They say they will call back but don't. That's my guess as to what he meant.

TRBOCHK
02-06-2004, 01:12 PM
Still... of course they are going to want him to buy their product, I think they can afford to lose one customer.. haha

Oh well, my post wasn't mean to bash him... I was just simply stating what I thought. I don't want to get flamed for it. :beer

Caine
02-06-2004, 01:34 PM
Yes Mike thank you that is what I meant. And at the time that was the insurance problem, now i have 2 jobs and a beater to drive around so why put the insurance back on the car when i wont be driving it. And if Buscher is going to be like that then he need not carry any other items than his.

Poor caine, i will stick up for the guy. First of all if any body knows him he's a cool guy, and he would give you the shirt off his back if you really needed it. Yeah big deal so he doesn't know how to spell the name of some guy he doesn't even like :rolleyes who cares. But i will agree with him on this.. It seemed Gunner came off as insulting for some "strange" reason. Gunner, if your going to correct a newb then do everyone a favor and correct them, but don't insult them on top of it, its adding insult to injury, just not needed. If i had a question that i could (for some reason) not find the myself, and ended up asking it here. i would expect to be treated with SOME sort of respect, at least i would hope so anyway.

just my .02

its cool we all ask dumb questions now and again...besides things sound meaner when you are behind a comp screen. take all comments with a grain of salt, roll em off your back and start again. mike c will be doing my calling to buschur for me anyway. :D
