Bass-Ackwards Stupid Idea

I need to get my talon up and running, while I rebuild the engine. Will a 7 bolt fit in a 90 without modification? I know it's stupid, but like I said I need to get it running.

it would probably have to be OBD-I but im thinking it would work otherwise

maybe a 1G 7-bolt, but not a 2G 7-bolt. The motor mounts are different.

On a 1G car there are 3 motor mounts on the block and 1 on the tranny.

On a 2G car there is ONE motor mount on the block and 3 on the tranny.

If you had a welder and cutting tools maybe you could custom fabricate something to work.

The 1G block is forward compatible but the 2G block is not backward compatible.

Thanks for the info, I think I'll just have to wait. It wasn't a god idea anyway. Does anyone know some good salvage yards in the columbus area to find a complete motor for a good price (less than $800) ?
