As most of you know i havent been out racing regularly in a few years and even though ive had the laser or MR2 at almost all of the tracks around here (Dragway 42/KilKare/Tristate/Marion/Tails/Norwalk/Mt.Vernon/Edgewater) i havent been at any lately so looking for some feedback. Which would you say is the best for showing up on a weekday (opening time the earlier the better) and getting a good 10+ runs in and still have good enough prep to try to keep all 4 tires from spinning too too much? Im primarily just looking to work on launches with my POS clutch before the end of the year but if the temps stay cool id like to have atleast a chance of running well if the damn thing cooperates for one run in ten. I guess my question is this:

1) Which track on a weekday would have the least amount of cars (ie: allow the most runs)

2) Which would have the best prep for a plain-jane weekday?

Since im still 50/50 on trailering it out id say proximity is a close 3rd ;)

most of us go to marion on friday for "test and tune"

you wont get 10+ runs, but should get 4-8 possibly 10, but i usually get 6ish before i head home.

track isnt great, but ken has put down 11 second passes there with his talon.

i ran better there than at trails, the only place i run better is norwalk.

pacemakers in Mt. Vernon. it's 1/8 mile but it's the stickiest surface around and is great on friday nights. i've put in 18 runs in one nite.
