Went to norwalk on friday, still was having a missing issue- but i figured i would give it another shot. First pass, went 12.50 and it was misfiring in third and 4th. Decided to see if i could get it to not do that- so i made another one. Spun hard in 1st, hit second- and the thing just misfired- so i parked it. Watched my old roomate run 10.2 at 153 in the supra we( ahem he built himself single handedly), at 35 psi and no juice. Another friend had his supercharged 4.3 v6 s10 out. He did his burnout, then went to launch... and left the rear part of his trans and drive shaft on the ground:(
While waiting for the aaa guy to tow the s10 home to akron(with my aaa membership), i was astounded that the chevy broke- and not the mitsu...
While following toledo friends getting on the turnpike- i nailed it in 2nd. The car decided to pulll hard, so i hit third- the power hit and third gear stripped off its teeth. DOH!
Kinda amusing that while the other towtruck was arrriving at my buddies house to drop off the s10(going east)> I had to call aaa and have my car towed to the west.
What a day.
