ok, this weekend while everyone was up having fun at the SO..i was stuck at home trying very hard to find this f'n boost leak thats been stealing roughly around 6 psi from me.

I hooked up the boost leak tester to the intake part of the turbo and put 20 lbs of compressed air into it and started listening and quickly heard to evil hiss of the devil. I found a small hole in the hose that comes from the wastegate and goes to my boost controller (was right near the wastegate nipple). So i cut that part off and put it back on..test drive was just the same as before...boost gauge just touches 15psi and then drops back down to 9. So i go to hook it up again..the hiss is still there. This hiss sounds like its coming from the turbo itself FFS. I was spraying windex on everything in that area looking for bubbles but nothing was working.

Also...Soon as my psi goes above 11psi my wastegate opens up..is this supposed to happen even though i have the boost controller set to 15 psi or is this another error i need to note?

This has been bothering me for weeks and i cannot find the damn thing. This needs to be done by this friday.
Little bit-o help, Please
~Dan

Anyone Have any ideas at all what -might- be leaking...im not looking for "This is what it is, for sure" just suggestions. I was hunting that damn leak down for 3 hours with my friend and couldnt pin point it.
Is there something on the turbo itself that could possibly leak? Is the Wastegate on the 14b known to be shitty enough to leak air?
seriously though, comments would be great because this thing is startin to seriously piss me off.

You can cap off the pressure source line to your boost controller so that it'll be easier to hear leeks or you can just keep your fingers over the bleeder hole so its easier to hear real leeks.

do you have you BC hooked up to the BOV or the LICP elbow?
