can i, or how can i lower my egt?
at 5,000rpms its at 1600, and i dont think thats right :confused .

1600 is the number your looking for.

if you ever got your logger to work, log for knock and timing.

To answer your question: turn down the boost or add more fuel.

If your EGTS are hitting 1600 at only 5000, then its probably through the roof by redline. What mods do you have done to the car? There are reasons the EGTs will go that high but the main reason is knock. Things like too lean of an air fuel ratio, too rich of an air fuel ratio, a heatsoaked intercooler, ETC can all cause knock. If you list out your mods, maybe I can help you find out what could be wrong. Also list how much boost pressure your running and what kind of gas :)

ya the logger um i dont know which wire gos to what i think its yellow, green, red, and black.
