i should be getting my tax return any day now (hopefully)
i'll have around $1,000 to spend on my car...maybe more

this is what i have so far:

HKS exhaust
AEM cold air intake
AEM cam gears
Greddy headers.
Weapon R dual spring coil overs
Sprint camber kit
Koni struts
Air/Fuel, NOS, Volt, EGT. Oil pressure Gauges
Clutch Masters stage 3 clutch w/ Fly wheel

things i know i need to get:
fuel pressure gauge
N.O.S. kit
JE/SRP Pistons
Eagle Rods
Cam

of the stuff i need i didn't know if there was a certian kind's to get (model). and prices and what else i need to get.. and or the order i should get the stuff in (even tho i don't think that will matter) i'm going to leave the eclipse a NT but even tho i'll have a big system i still wan't to get as much HP as possiable.

thanks for any help ...

BTW i might get my insurance back on it soon so i can drive it to work....that way i can paint and work on the system when we're slow..

how much do you estimate all of this stuff will weigh?

Your really working against yourself in goals. You want that bomb ass system and respectable hp and the two are hard to mix, especially w/ a 4 banger.

The all motor route is rather disappointing not taking into account the added weight. The most your going to squeeze out of that motor w/o the spray is only about 180whp. That may keep you side by side w/ integras or si's, IF you didnt have an additional few hundred pounds of equipment in your car. Your car can handle upto a 75 shot w/o the need of better pistons or rods. You should do however make sure you have a better fuel pump. If your going to spray I would make sure you read up on 2gnt for all the little things.

My advice. Get a 50-75 shot from ZEX or Venom b/c of their control modules. That should keep you respectable. Take the extra money and buy a nice brake kit, wilwood, baer or aem bbk, b/c you now have a lot of extra weight to deal with and those shitty single calipers just won't do, they fade to hell as is.

under drive pulley, high flo cat or test pipe hit up chad A.K.A mr blunt for a areomotive pressure regulator but the biggest gain i got was prolly frothis thing called the Jet V-force. people say that its doesn't work well when i tested it at trails with it off i ran a 16.98 with a .453 RT and with it on i dulehopped at the line had a shitty rt .564 and ended up running a 16.32
but thats from my experiences. ask chad he'll be able to help you more than i probley will.

I already get my battery light coming on w/ my 8" sub, with him pulling 15X more current i wouldn't recommend the UDP. My lack of knowledge regarding car audio may show here but if you have a way to combat that w/ caps or extra batteries or whatever then this may go out the window.

i would ditch those shitty coilovers while you have the chance!

not going to do the UDP that would kill me bc i'll have about 600 amp draw.... and the system will be big...so i'm not looking to "race" the car...

i should have put this down just all around "show car" but i want to have it if i want to step on it i can... i will have most of the stock rear interior out of the car (from the door's and back) but my 2 subs will weigh about 108 lbs (total for both) and then the box is out of 1" mdf so there's another 50-75 lbs and batteries and amps....

i'll look into total weight right now and will have a estimate of weight added bc of my system by tonight or 2marro

as for the coilovers i was thinking about putting a air bag kit on but unsure on that..

ok sub's and amps i'll have 152LB's exactly added

sub amps = 16 lb's each (i'll have 2)
mid and high amps = 8 lbs each (i'll have 2 again)
sub's 52lbs each (2 again)

...i estimate my (4) batteries are going to be around 150lbs (probably less i can't see these batteries being 37.5 lbs each)

so batteries,amps,subs about 300lbs

add wood & fiberglass lets say 300lbg for that max (doubt it but you never know

so i'll be adding 600 lbs's or less give or take.....

Spend the money on a nice brake kit, the Nitrous and then start having my buddy polish the shit in your engine bay. Stick to having a nice all around show car w/ a little go.

so just stick w/ what i have and go w/

N.O.S.
nice brake kit

I haven't been on here to follow your progress, but from reading this thread, since you're going to stay all-motor and build an audio sound/show car, then I'd wouldn't spend too much money on performance parts. Truth is, our cars--n/a--is quite slow, and the added audio setup will surely negate any bolt-ons you'll do. For the needed punch in power, like Blunt said, go with a nitrous setup. That way you can have a couple of polished nitrous tanks sitting next to your subs :D Of course, it's just my two cents. You should do what it is that will make it worthwhile for YOU.

well said my l-azn buddy. truth being the highest dynoed n/a 2gnt right now made less than 180 whp and his car is pretty much fully done up internal wise. 180 hp isn't going to make you any faster when you take a car at 3200 lbs and make it 3800+ w/ your ass in it. your pretty much keeping it close to where it originally was. i would very very seriously look into the brake upgrade though, w/ rims and system your adding a ton more stress to those little bishes. polished nitrous tank plus 13" rotors would be money well spent

got my NOS kit :) now have to save up for my brake's ..i was also wondering if i should get a new crank as well

if not this is that i have:

HKS exhaust
AEM cold air intake
AEM cam gears
Greddy headers.
Weapon R dual spring coil overs
Sprint camber kit
Koni struts
Air/Fuel, NOS, Volt, EGT. Oil pressure Gauges
Clutch Masters stage 3 clutch w/ Fly wheel
Zex Nos kit (which gives me 55/65/75 HP boost)

what i need to get:
Brake's
Crank (maybe)
Cam (maybe)
Port/Polish
fuel pressure gauge
fuel pump (maybe...would i need it?!?!?!?!?)

and i think thats it for my engine :D unless any one else can think of something i'm missing

Are you thinking about replacing the crank? I'd recommend getting it polished and balanced, unless you plan on building a 500 hp race car, I don't think you need to replace it. It's known to be quite strong. HRC's 500+ RS still uses the stock crank :) And maybe street cams to make good use of the porting/polishing that you'll be doing.

cool thanks for that info, i just want a nice all around "show car" w/ some go....and i don't want to kill my engine if i do decide to hit the nos etc and take off...i guess i'm just getting excited bc i should have the engine done here soon if things keep up the way they are going...

i just wanted to ask what you all thought i should get for my car...other than what i have.. like maybe a list like this...

what i need:
what might be nice preformance /look good
and then don't bother won't do any good..
