It was a 95 with the low wing. It had a Thermal exhaust on it and you could see the 3 gauge pod in the darkness.

oh....wait a sec....this was ME!!!!!!!

I got the car running again. I haven't been able to work on it due to back problems. I installed a new battery this evening and had to re-route the catch can because I am going back to a normal-sized wet cell battery, an Optima red top.

Next up will be to take the front case off and fix that oil leak but I might play around with replacing more bolts with stainless steel ones before I do that.

It's always nice to hear about another DSM that's back on the road (not at road sides or on flat beds) :)

The Dyna-Batt dry cell battery wouldn't hold a charge. I had to jump start it everytime I wanted to move it. I didn't want to be stranded anywhere if I drove it so I just parked it. I contemplated for a while on what battery I was going to replace it with and somewhat dreaded having to work on the car even though it wasn't much work.

I had fabricated a custom mount for the old Dyna-batt battery and I had to remove the battery tray and remove the special mount to install a regular -sized battery. Plus, I had to dig through boxes and boxes of parts to find that plastic tray and that tie-down bracket with the long bolt with the hook on it. The catch can was also installed in that same area and I had to find a new place to mount it which is now underneath the MAS.

On a "normal" car, I would have swapped batteries in 2 minutes in the AutoZone parking lot.
