Boost Leak

Well I think I found the boost leak. It seems to be the BOV at idle.. I've replaced the gasket already and that didn't do anything for it.. If anyone has an extra 1g BOV mounted on either the stock flange or a hard UICP with a 1g BOV I need to borrow it.. I only need it for like 10 minutes or so.. Let me know..

Also, the oil leak is coming from behind the front engine lift bracket.. :cuss Time for a rebuild..

all 1g BOVs leak at idle, unless you've done a leak-stop kit (or crushed it). See DejonTOOL (http://www.dejontool.com/dsm-misc.htm)'s website for info.

You sure it's not just the valve cover gasket letting oil out and down? If you haven't changed it in the last 50K or so, it's probably hard as hell and isn't making a proper seal.

The BOV seems to release when taking off though.. When the car starts taking off it sounds like it leaks a lot, and if you push in the gas it counters that and makes boost.. So, anyone have a boost leak test then?

The valve cover gasket is fairly new.. I just changed it about 10K ago.. So it shouldn't be the gasket..
