I ordered two flower arrangements yesterday. 1 from FTD the other from 1800flowers. both tracking pages i printed said they would be delivered by 8pm...neither of which are there:Owned plenty of money wasted on something that will die..let alone they werent there when it matters most

Pardon my French but.....No shit, Sherlock. You ordered on "Valentines Day".

You should have ordered 2 weeks ago. Do you think you are the only person who ordered flowers for Valentines Day?

The 2 services you mentioned are big ripoff companies. You are better off calling a florist directly and avoiding the "middleman". At least the florist will have a better idea of how busy they are and will be honest enough to tell you that it will not make it on time.

You are always welcome to walk into a florist shop and purchase the flowers directly and hand deliver them. Of course, all the roses in their shop (if that is what you were going to buy) may already be spoken for and you will have to buy carnations or something else.

On a side note, if you are buying flowers for a funeral that is out of state, call the funeral home and get florist shop recomendations from them. Then call the florist shops directly.

go get a dozen roses from giant eagle, they are like $15 for a dozen... they sometimes have a neat hybrid, last ones i i bought had pedals that were yellow with red edges

I usualy go to Krogers and get a dozen, then cut and arrange them in a vase. Then drop them off at my wifes office while she is on lunch. But this year I had a little extra money, so I ordered a little sumpum sumpum from Pajama Gram.com. And of course had it delivered to her office on Valentines Day.

I got my flowers to me on time.. right on Valentines Day around 7 pm... made me smile for sure
