kind of a weird question, but i have a dual gauge pod that i used to have my a/f gauge in,which was inaccurate.after my swap is done, ill obviously have a boost gauge, but what else should i have?im not to concerned with voltage, but i was thinking oil pressue, oil temp, egt if i find one cheap enough.nothing that my datalogger can see will go there though.any ideas?

Oil pressure but only if it has an alarm on it that goes off if it gets too low whether it be a bright light that comes on or some sort of beep.

yea thats what i was thinking too, just wanted to get some opinions.for the guys who already have an oil pressure gauge, hows your sender set up?tee'd off or just connected to the factory sender?id rather have an electrical setup than mechanical,i dont want oil coming at me if something breaks.

no no no
you do NOT use the oem sending unit for "Ting off" for oil pressure. Replace the stock one with the autometer one.
an alarm of some sort would be nice but not needed unless you plan on spending upwards of 150 for that gauge

so get an electrical or mechanical one and just replace the smaller of the 2 oil pressure sending units?i know one is for the factory gauge and the other is just an "idiot light" gauge.i noticed the electrical ones are a bit more expensive, but i guess either way ill be routing wire or some sort of tube,so i may just go with a mechanical one.
