Always buy NGK brand spark plugs. Never buy fancy Platinum or Iridium spark plugs. If anything, those fancy plugs only cause problems on turbocharged cars.
If your car is basically stock then use the BPR6ES model. The stock plug is a dual prong plug (BPR6EKN). The BPR6ES is supposedly a better performance plug. It has a different tip on it yet it is in the same heat range as the BPR6EKN model.
If you have some mods on your car and you are running higher boost levels then you will want to switch over to NGK BPR7ES or NGK BR7ES. The drawback to the "7ES" models is that it will make the car harder to start in the winter time. So, you may only want to use them in the warmer months.
You can buy NGK plugs at: the dealership, NAPA, Autozone, and the International Autoparts store on Rt.3 in Columbus, OH. NGK plugs come pregapped but you should check them anyway.
