I got the car done this week, it made 302.8 to the flywheel and 286 to the wheels with 256lbs torque, I was on 93 kroger gas at 19lbs.. overall i was happy with the cars numbers.

Where did you dyno the car at?

How did they give you a flywheel number? The 5% drivetrain loss doesn't really add up.

it was estimated I guess, I was really more happy with the 286 to the wheels than anything... my torque was shitty but thats because im on the t28 I guess. Im looking to go bigger been thinking about a 50 trim. what do you guys think.

Did they use a wideband sniffer on the car and if so, what A/F did you tune the car at?

Or.........just don't make up shit:thumb I'll chalk it up to another case of Passen being complete fucksticks and not directly blame you Toopsie.

The thing that pissses me off is they wouldnt let me even watch them dyno the car, maybe I could have learned something, maybe not, but I would have liked to atleast watched what was going on, instead I had to sit in another room and just listen to my car. I know it was almost perfect conditions when they made the runs, it was like 63 degrees in the room. When I went in they were all guessing that I was going to make like 225 to the wheels.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. How much did they charge you? How many pulls were done? Was any tooning done? Did they use a wideband? Did they even give you a printout?

I hate when a customer is standing over my shoulder and watching everything and talking. I'm sure there are others who feel the same way.

If my car was on the dyno I would definitely want to watch. That would be a huge torture for me, hearing it and just sitting in the waiting room.

More details and definitely let's see the prinout.

Why have I never heard a good thing said about passen?

They had the car on the dyno for about 2.5 hours, they said it would only take 1 hour, so he charged me for 1 hour, which is 125$. They said i couldnt be in there do to insurance reasons. I will try to get the printouts up of the sheet when I get some more freetime. They also said they lost the rpm signal at like 4500-6000 do to a ignition problem? Does that sound correct?

They are complete morons.

I don't reccomend passen at all, especially for tuning. They are overpriced and don't know anything. They blew up my brothers last motor from bad tuning. He now goes to slowmotion and they're cheaper than a lot of people and a whole lot smarter. Corey at slowmotion is probably one of the best tuners in town. My bro made 350@ 10psi at 5500rpm's(not fully tuned yet, waiting on manifold. hints the 5500rpms)

I will never, ever deal with them either. The first time I went to the Westerville store, I believe it is Westerville, they talked to me like I had just been born. That's been 4 years ago. Yes, expensive and don't know crap!

www.slowmotionmotorsports.com

they post in the vendor section on here. also, check their forums for best info.

they are located about 1/8mile north of morse rd on westerville road, on the right side. a sign out front says modena motorsports.

i thought his last motor blew up from a blownheadgasket?

He did blow a head gasket but from bad tuning he burned a piston and cracked his block. Its a fully built turbo, but its not a dsm its just a honda.
