Move out of state...
I got everything done, have insurance in Nevada now, and for being more expensive here, I pay less than I did in Ohio. How? Well, they checked my drivers license number, which is now Nevada. Ohio points/tickets/etc. don't transfer. Apparently they didn't notice that I've only been in NV 6 months, because they didn't ask for my Ohio license number, thus my 2 tickets/ points didn't show up on my record, even for insurance. :P

Nice. Somebody was telling me about doing something like that, take residency somewhere else and having a clean record, not just points though.

Your Ohio stuff might eventually catch up. In the 1960's many states entered the Driver's License Compact. For example, Ohio will not add any points for an out-of-state ticket, but it will be added to your driving record (I know this because I had 3 points in Michigan, but 0 in my home state of Ohio). The only state I know of that does not share is New York.
Addition: It took 3-4 months for Ohio to add my Michigan ticket to my Ohio driving record. The Ohio BMV was nice enough to send me a letter though.

I checked, Nevada is a member of the DLC. It should get there, don't worry.

One would think they would have made it in 7 months. I got the ticket August 20th or so, I got my NV license Around Sept 10th.
By now, actually, I think the other ticket has dropped off, so it will just be one, and one ticket *shouldn't* hurt me much. It never has in the past. I consistently get 1 moving violation a year, so I rarely have more than 2 pts on my license at once.
Either way, I don't really care. Just thought it was funny. Best thing is my bike insurance will be $40/month for full coverage.

If im not mistaken Florida is not part of DLC. I have a friend who was stationed down there, got alot of speeding/racing ticket's and they never ended up transfering.
