will the transmission off a 1.8 bolt directly to a n/t 2.0 ?

1gen tranny and engine

1.8 tranny code: f5m22
2.0 NT and Turbo FWD tranny code: f5m33

The 1.8 is smaller, ive replaced both twice... :confused
