...friday afternoon will be the last time I ever see my Eclipse. I trade her in for my 05 Scion xA that I just took ownership of this evening. I'm gonna miss the Eclipse, because it was the first car I paid for and it was my favorite car when it first came out before I was old enough to drive. The only thing I won't miss is having to fix multiple broken parts and crappy gas mileage.
Overall I feel excited about having a brand new car with a warranty and everything is intact and in perfect condition...and the fact I will get 32/38mpg. The only thing I don't like is having to pay for full coverage insurance again.

Good luck with that.... I personally don't like that car, the TC is much hotter... but you gotta love that warranty.

hahaha yeah, the xA commercial sold me on the car...well not really, but its a funny commercial. Actually I liked the xA the best out of the three when they all came out, ever since my friend got an MP5 I have had a thing for "sport wagon's". Plus this car is $3k cheaper and gets better gas mileage...and has more room, which we all know the DSM's totally lack.

small cars rock! they let you duck and weave through traffic like ... well .... like i do :D you have to give the xA that much, i cant say anything bad because it would take my crx anyday, i bet i match your gas milage though.

What kind of gas mileage did you get out of the eclipse?
My rs averages around 35 mpg.
My tsi on the other hand gets 8.

when I first got my Eclipse (when there was nothing wrong with it) I got between 300-350 miles per full tank of 92/93 octance. As the years went on it gradually decreased and the past couple months I would only get about 200-250 miles per tank, but I'm pretty sure it was leaking gas and oil when I got rid of it.

As I was leaving the dealer last night for one of my free car washes I heard a familiar sound...someone was cruisin' in my old Eclipse. I tried to get closer to see if it was someone from the dealer messin' around in it before they trashed it (which is what I thought they would do), but it was two younger kids and it appears that they or their parents baught it. It had 30 day tags and the dealers license plate frame around it. Hopefully they don't want it for a daily driver, gas and oil prices are too high for that...plus it doesn't have rear seat belts.
