nitrous couldnt win this race..

Well I was in cleveland for spring break, with a friend of mine.. He's got a 91 eagle talon runs low 13, cherry shape! one of the cleanest 1g dsm's I know. Well we are down by NO by the I-X center and this read honda si pulls up to us. I mean it looks good nice buddy kit, didnt sound really all that mean but what honda does? but anywho my friend says hey man nice car u wanna run them? the guy looks over and says I only race for 50 bucks or more! so me and him put our money together and then we get on a back road to race. we went from a stop and off 3, then right off the start my friend was pulling and pulling, then the guy hit his nitrous which brought him up a little but then my friend pulled. We stoped to collect and we asked the guy what he had done and about the only thing was Nitrous.. wow I told him he should just stick to racing for free before losing anymore money trying to look like a hard ass... :booty made me some money that day!

its johns car. he has a 2.4L in it w/ direct port nitrous. he was in low 12's last year, i dont know what he plans on doing to get any faster, haven't talked to him for a while. his car is pretty quick

so what kinda #'s does he put out on the dyno with the nitrous ? I will be dynoing my Sunday with the nitrous hopefully mine acts like that too.

Bryan, Jon made 158hp and 153ft/lb off the bottle. On the 75shot, resulted 247hp and 272ft/lb. The crazy thing is he runs 150shot daily but no hp numbers at the moment.

there is a guy that lives in cincy with a civic, intake, header, exhaust, nitrous, ran a 13 flat.

thats about 1k in mods.

honda people know him as Mista Bone

and you have to think, a stock civic with nitrous hanging with a low 13sec dsm is pretty good.

intake header and exhaust doesn't make it stock. those three alone should run close to a grand unless he made his own junk. still nice et non the less

only pointing out that its not stock and its difficult to buy those mods for 1k new...didnt want an e battle with da honda kids. a 13 flat w/ nawz in a 1500lb car is awsome, its still a civic :p
