Would you comment a little more on the cams. I've never heard of Piper and I searched around a little and came up with nothing. $916 for a set of cams is pretty hefty compared to anything else that I'm aware of. Just curious to learn :)

Piper cams are very big in England. All the big euro.EVO tuners have been using them for a long time .They make very very big power gains all across the board.most of them are big lift short deration camshafts for less valve overlap=MORE POWER!!(when done right)They also have more stable idle that most.We can get almost any grind you would like the ines we have here would be great street/strip cams with265 deg. with 11.5mm lift. A little bit of a choppy idle but not bad at all.
Thanks

Have you dynoed them in comparison to HKS, JUN, etc... ?

We have not tested them on a dyno,But an independent shop in europe tested them back to back on the same day with HKS 272 and the piper street kit made 30WHP more than the HKS,We sell all of the grinds piper cams offer, the Kit that we have in stock is the RALLY KIT that is one step up from the one tested :thumb

That 30whp, is that peak, average or what? What does it do to the power band? Does it peak higher or lower? How flat is the torque curve? Where does the torque curve peak?

Ill try to find the dyno sheet and post it for you ;)

Thanks

We do not have the dyno sheet. It was done independently by some very well respected members/shop guys in Europe. The higher lift cams like those are actually all very close in price. Check Tomei Procams for a reference. Generally the cams will pull more power and spool better while not hurting your idle as much as lower lift and higher duration cams.
