No start issue today on 70
Well I was heading down to IPS to pick up my fuel pump today after work and did alittle detouring because of the damn grid lock of Columbus. And I came up to some more traffic and It was in and out on the clutch. Well the last time I went to take off the neo filickered and then came back on well when it flickered it acted like it was going to stall well right after it came back on it died. And would not start back up. I figured it was a coil issue so I got a screwdriver from the road worriers that were at the crash infront of me and stuck it in a plug wire and had the guy turn it over. Well no spark. So I went through all my connections at the coil and my connections at the ecu. Well all of the connections were good. After this I tried to start it again and it would not start. As I noticed the neo was no longer on. What in the hell could cause this. I was towed to a buddys house where the car is currently sitting, waiting on me for tomorrow after work to trouble shoot. Where do I start?

Why would that make my neo not come on when the switch is on?

Sorry- I'm either dumb or drunk tonight: Does Neo refer to underbody neon lights?

It doesnt smell burnt though. I thought about that too. I am going to dig into it tonight at my buddys house. Prolly pull the back of the neo off and see if there is any burnt traces. For some reason I feel like its my ECU though. But it has never given me issues like a faulty ECU would.

cam sensor for the no spark issue, or a ecu for the entire deal. If you had a idea it was the ecu pull the ecu out and open it up. or smell it if it smells like mike c then you have a burnt ecu..

There is a guy that has a 1991 FWD eprom for sale. I am going to trade him my greddy type s for it. Its just a matter of getting down to him this week. And Im going to pull the cover off the ecu and see if that is the issue tonight. If not... well thats a whole nother story. I really hope that the neo didnt get burnt to a crisp.

Yes its wired into the harness. The MPI fuse under the hood is still good. I also switched the fuses to see if that was the one that was bad and burnt down inside where I couldnt see it and still the same results. Am I mistaken on which fuse is for the ecu?
